Combine Hiking and Biking to Viewpoint and Mountain Plateau – 27 km / 17 miles – Sundays

Cycle along scenic coastal roads before hiking to the summit of Núgvan above Tórshavn. This active tour combines mountain views, open landscapes and a fun downhill ride back toward the capital.

We start by cycling along the coastal road before gradually climbing the mountain road toward the pass Norðadalsskarð (225 m). Along the way we enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding fjords and mountains.
At the mountain pass we leave our bikes and begin a hike along an old shepherd’s trail across open moorland. The trail climbs steadily toward the 667-meter summit of Núgvan.
From the top we enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views across Streymoy and the surrounding islands of the Faroe Islands.
After a break at the summit, we walk back to the pass and continue the tour with a fun downhill ride back toward Tórshavn.
